The BSD SSC Microgrid Solution is a self-contained electrical system. It was designed for continuous parallel operation with the main power grid. In the event of a power outage, it will operate in island mode.
Initially designed to support California skilled nursing facilities’ compliance with AB-2511, which requires a minimum of 96 hours of alternative power, the BSD SSC Microgrid is now available for any building that needs uninterruptible power.
It is rated for winds up to 150 mph and is seismically certified by California’s OSHPD/HCAi (California OSHPD/HCAi OSP-0826). It can provide a reliable and efficient source of power, especially during unexpected power loss or natural disasters. It can also help improve the stability of the regional electric grid and reduce carbon emissions.
